    The 6GB kit is quite old and runs at 1.65V. The timings are quite different too (9-9-9-24 vs 7-8-8-24). I will try that though, see if I can even get it to default to the lower speeds I might be missing something here, but what does socket related RAM issues mean? Reseat the CPU?
