    Trinity in the Flesh...or Silicon

people have started oc'ing their mobile dGPUs, namely the 7660g and 6620g!! ive gone to 580MHz on my 6620g, from 444MHz. Wow! it might go higher but MSI Afterburner limits it to 580MHz for the 6620g. tried Borderlands 2 and Sleeping Dogs... well, no miracles but it definitely feels a bit...

    Trinity in the Flesh...or Silicon

Tom's review has anti-aliasing benchmarks (but no HD4000, oddly). Pulls ahead of A8 by 40% in Skyrim with good visual settings. But in other games, mmmmm, its barely faster than Llano.

    Trinity in the Flesh...or Silicon

The AMD Trinity Review (A10-4600M) Not much of a boost in graphics performance (over A8-3500M) as i had earlier imagined. less than 30% increase in Skyrim. Less than that in Batman: AC.

    Trinity in the Flesh...or Silicon

OMG now its getting real... (translated link below). In Cinebench 11.5, we see a CPU score of 1.13 points. The processor will further a PassMark rating of 2870 CPU points. Its predecessor, the A6-3400m with the Llano architecture, scoring 2,405 points. The GPU score increased from 415 to 618...

Goodbye ATI, I'm coming over boys and girls

doubt that he meant to be condescending. in my case, i have 2 PCs with HD5xxx hardware. both suffered from constant lockups and BSODs while gaming. both are single card setups. it took me a while but i finally narrowed it down to SPTD.SYS on both machines. removed that bit and no problems since...

    Trinity in the Flesh...or Silicon

Ok, so it's a May 15 release date? A8-4500M (Trinity) vs A8-3500M (Llano): "The integer speed (basically the CPU math performance) is where Trinity shines though: its score of 5,214.95 / 5 662.48 is about 38.67% better than the Llano's 3,921.99." Link. just got my llano lappie in Oct and was...
