There was some rumor recently that showed a 57% increase over the 2080ti by a 3090? If the 3090 will only get 19.5 gbps.... its not worth 1400 gotta be 21 gbps at least.
Im Disappointed that the rtx 3090 has 19.5 gbps instead of the rumored 21 gbps. 7nm is a nice surprise i was hoping for a 60-70% leap in performance over a 2080ti im including overclocking btw. Perhaps it can overclock well on 7nm.
Im comparing the performance jump from a 980ti to a 1080ti which is a 63% jump in performance stock cooling.
Overclocking wise 47% difference. But, the 1080ti was only 699.99. This card is 800 dollars more expensive and if it cant deliever a gigantic leap in performance based on its price its...
I thought rumors pointed towards a 3080 being 35% faster than a 2080ti and a 3080ti being 50% fasteer. Then the class of titan/3090 would be 24 gb, 20 gb for 3080ti, and 10gb for 3080.
This is based off of theoretical specs of big navi. I liked how this guy broke it down on the scale of navi 2x and what could be expected from these class of cards.
I figured nvidia would want 7 nm TSMC just to keep a greater distance against AMD for the ultimate performance crown. Give AMD no room to say that they outperform nvidia in the high end skus.

So you think the 3080ti will be on 7 nm and have 60% performance improvement? Im still shocked most of nvidias lineup will be on 8 nm. I do know that its not official just based upon speculation.
You guys think an rtx 3090 on 7 nm will launch this year or next year? I wonder if a titan ampere card would be worth getting if they lower prices more.
I really want a 60% performance leap over a 2080ti
Do you mind elaborating how nvidia would be at a breakaway point from your point of view? Yes they have an AI lead but does nvidia have other up and coming technologies that would push their lead performance wise in the gaming market?
Do you all think the 3080ti will be vastly superior to amd's big navi card? Since its rumored to be at 862 mm^2 vs 502 mm^2 i think nvidia has a big advantage here.
