    Hmmm, it's showing as a Northwood in CPU-Z. but it's been a while since I got the mobo/cpu. And yeah, it's a single channel board. So dual-channel and a different core makes a 33% - 50% difference? I may need a new processor/mobo/ram, then. Sigh. Thanks for the info.
