Good stereo mix > mono > bad stereo mix, IMO. I've heard plenty of bad early stereo recordings where each instrument was panned either hard left or hard right. Putting the guitar and drums in the left speaker, and bass and vocals in the right just makes everything worse. It makes sense to me...
I have 64gb because of a project that involved a very large data set. Unfortunately that much ram has made me lazy about closing programs, tabs, or anything else, so right now I'm using 30.7gb. Chrome is a bit more than half of that usage. I'm pretty sure I could get by just fine with 32gb...
Pretty happy with my current setup... I've had the 3007 since they first came out, and just added the 2007s on each side. Other than gaming support, the PLP setup seems nearly perfect.
Go back and read about that study again. You seem to have a fundamental misunderstanding of what it means. As for the rest of your claims, provide some evidence. Saying "What if?" about things that you can't show evidence of isn't an argument.
Are you actually trying to argue that it's...
Wow, pretty much everything you said was wrong. You have a basic understanding of how parallax works, but you're way, way off on its precision. Hipparcos, launched in 1989, could measure parallax to 0.001 arcsecond, or 0.00000028 degrees. That was good enough for accurate parallax measurements...
I find it hard to be outraged about this, considering it says right at the top of the picture "Pre-Release Screening Security". It'd be ridiculous if they were trying to set these rules for normal paying customers, but they're not. Higher security (whether like this or through NDAs or anything...
That kind of money, and it comes with Bose speakers? That's rather weak. I also agree with the complaints about the monitor mounts. I don't have any issues with extremely expensive products on principle, but if you're going to charge that much, you'd better get all the details right.
That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard. Sometimes, even in a well maintained, high performance, all wheel drive car with snow tires, available traction does not allow for safe travel at the speed limit. If the road is too slick, even the best driver in the world will still need more room...
Nope. That's actual carbon fiber. There's a video about how all of the parts on the car are produced... it'll really give you an appreciation for what goes into making these things.

Get a better bank. My credit/debit card info was stolen last year... My bank caught it, called me to let me know about it, cancelled my card, and shipped me a new one overnight. I was not out a single cent for a single day.
I just placed an order for the parts to put together a new unix box... I didn't like Windows XP and had gotten out of gaming, so I switched 100% to linux in 2003 or so. I liked Windows 7 well enough and decided to take advantage of Steam sales, so I switched back when it was released. I've...
Google 5, Bing 0. Bing only provided decent results on one test, borderline acceptable on another, and crap on the last 3. Worthless might be an exaggeration, but based on those 5 searches I feel quite comfortable saying that Bing pretty much sucks. I can't imagine that I'd waste my time with...
They were $13k brand new. Now they're worth much more than that. It seems to me that the people who bought them actually made very intelligent purchases.
Also note that not everyone who spends more on something than you would spend is an idiot.
