The way I've set it up in my case, the fans pull air from the bottom and pushes it out the top. This is exactly how the case is configured out of the box in terms of flow. The only difference is that in my case the fans has to pull the air through a radiator and a custom Demciflex filter.
Thanks. They're great. Even though I ended up buying 4 extra in addition to the ones that came with the case, in order to get a set of three with a motor noise I found satisfactory :).
After the 73rd revision I've made to my rig (or something like that :)) I finally decided to call it "finished". Received my EK full cover 680 waterblock wednesday and the new Zotac 680,
that I switched out for the 5 day old Asus 680 I bought on release, on thursday. The Zotac seems to clock a...
Allthough I don't own the 600t myself, I am using the similar 650D for my media pc. I would think that it's possible to fit more radiator surface inside the FT02 than the 600t, but it is easier to connect an external radiator to the 600t (not impossible with the FT02, just slightly more of a...
I've finally gotten my rig water cooled and then I see this:

At least there will be a block for the board. Not sure if it's needed in my...
I'm unfortunately not equipped to do a side by side comparison of the different mainboard's audio these days and the only decent audio equipment I have at the moment is my B&W P5 headset. My point wasn't that the on board audio of the Formula is bad. I'm satisfied with it considering the...
The board's been out at least 2-3 weeks here in Norway, maybe longer. The shop I bought mine from even got new stock last week (the BF3 edition). Seems strange that it should take so long to get it out in north america.
It looks like a decent board anyways. Coming from a M4E and Z68v Pro...
Gulf of Oman is by far the most demanding map in BF3 that I have tested. Running the game on Ultra@1080P/120hz with MSAA off, I've experienced micro stutter and normal stutter both with a single gtx 580 and in SLI on that map. This was with my previous setup, a 2600K@4.8Ghz and Z68/P67 chipset...
That is nice to know. The RIVE is one of the few boards that can do 3-way SLI properly with after market coolers then. I settled with the Formula for my X79 upgrade. Excellent board.
Waiting for the new generation of GPUs is probably a good idea, especially when looking at the performance and...
You might be able to do it with the Rampage IV Extreme using the first red slot, the middle black/gray slot and the last red slot. This will give you 1 slot space in between each card. The black/gray slot in the middle is wired for 8x, same as the last red. I don't know whether or not this setup...
Something to consider when going 3-way SLI with the cards you have, is to allow for at least 1 slot space between each card to allow them to breathe properly. From my own testing with aftermarket coolers, and other reports on the issue around the web, you might need that to not hit extreme...
I've been considering making the same move as the OP. Selling my Gigabyte SLI and going back to my Asus Matrix 580. Mostly due to excessive noise from the Gigabytes. The problem I've found when testing the single card is that I've simply gotten too used to the performance of SLI. The difference...
I run these cards @stock in the FT02 with 1 slot space between them. The gpu fans on auto (top card reaches 99% in Witcher 2), and the AP181s are at max when the cpu reaches gaming temperatures (regulated from the chassis fan outputs on my Asus motherboard).
Depending on the game the temp range...
