Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

I have never had it before. It works just fine, now. Here's how I got around it, maybe it could help for you.
First thing, I flashed my BIOS to the newest version (Asus P4C800). Then I updated to the new 4.2 Cats. I rebooted and...
I'd go with the Sapphire Radeon... I've read that it doesn't come with a coupon for Half-Life2 (though I got one when I got my 9800 XT), so just make sure you check if that's important to you.
Have you tried taking everything out and just powering up the motherboard?
Also, I'd check putting your system on a towel (or a non conductive surface) and try booting it that way and see if that helps. On more than one occasion did I have a computer not boot up because it wasn't properly...
