I think Coreplayer (which I have) is the current commercial version of tcpmp. The problem was that I was making my own videos via a screen capture program, and the resulting .avi file would not play on HP - an unsupported codec. Converting it to .wmv via DVD Catalyst solved the problem.
This was the only product that worked for my pocket pc (hx4700).
