I saw this on engadget and thought I was pass it along-- the new Lian Li T1 "spider" case is rather innovative. If it becomes (or is a real product) I might consider it for my next build... It is basically a mini-ITX open case design which makes it easily accessible for over clocking...

I'd recommend building a NAS. Depending on your level of expertise, you could either use FreeNAS (more intuitive to a newbie, fantastic GUI but slower transfer speeds) or Ubuntu Server (less intuitive, webadmin is an "ok" GUI but the transfer speeds are greater). When I get asked this...

Where can I get a build that will test all 4 cores? I found one to download but it only ramped up 2 cores + RAM (blended test). The CPU temp leveled off at 54 C.

With all 4 cores maxed at 100% doing video encoding the temperature doesn't move above 57 C. The GPU processor will get warmer-- but I don't think I have seen anything above 65 C. The layout doesn't rely on elegance to get the hot air out--instead it relies on brute force. The two 120 mm up...
