OK pututu, I gave this a shot with my 3785 card. Real quick test with a randomly selected voltage/clock combo of 800mV/1530MHz. Here is my result, successfully set and tested below 818mV:
UPDATE: I can set it to 793mV successfully, but 787mV setting results in the card automatically raising...
I played this game all the way through, searched for every secret, platformed ad nauseum. Uninstalled it when done. It wasn't as good as Doom 2016, but it wasn't trash either. Just different. No idea skins were even a thing for this game. With all the glory killing and scrambling for ammo...
That's what I was thinking...
On a separate but related topic, how is mining different from folding (an evga-sponsored activity)? They both load the GPU and run 24/7.
People are buying the B-stock up instantly, so the prices go up and up. If people didn't pay $1,300 for a 2080Ti, then EVGA would drop prices until they sell.
Shamefully, yes. I can justify the board since there is another build in my future and 5800X's are readily available. 5600X less so, but preferred for this particular PC.
Not so happy that the only GPU options are Gigabyte, but at least they're on my shortlist of acceptable AIBs.
The voltage is fine. Temps are great. The issue will come down the road when you encounter games that stress that CPU more and more and you have no idea how it will behave beyond 130W. That CPU will hit 200W+ and your cooler be at it's limit. Up to you not to at least know how well it...
