What exactly do you mean by overshoot? Is it ghosting? Because I don't see any of that with my latest (new/revised) replacement monitor (A00, October 2013). -

Even bad cross-hatching is really only noticeable on completely white backgrounds. And even then, you usually have to put your eyes quite close to the monitor to see it. It's literally "cross-hatches" that you can see, something like this pattern... -

Finally arrived. Very happy with it. Using it as I type. I wouldn't have even noticed the backlight bleed if not for "perfectionists" raving on about it in this thread hehe. I'm not even sure if it's true backlight bleed in the lower left - it seems to disappear completely if I move my head... -

Just splashed out on this monitor. Ordered it for $610 US dollars (inlcuding delivery). What price are people paying for this? I should have the monitor by next week. I'll report back any backlight bleeding etc. I tend to have my office relatively dark, so it will be interesting...
