I have 2 of those, and gradients are crap. My old Benq FP937s+ was perfect with gradients, so why are these new monitors so bad with it? Is there a way to fix it?

The one connected in the dvi plug just gives a yellow power-led. No signal detected. At first it was the other way around; the vga not working but dvi did. Bios updated, graphic drivers updated (X800XT agp), switched the monitors, used other cables. The monitor plugged into dvi (eather one)...

Don't forget most screens are about €200 ($266) more expensive over here in belgium, especially from DELL :).

Mostly work (coding) and movies, and an occasional game. I have a 19" lcd now (Benq FP937s+, 1280*1024) and want something at least as good or (prefered) better.

So, my budget is €800 or 1 065.52 US$. I want 1 huge LCD/TFT, or 2 smaller ones. What monitors do you guys recommend me with that budget? Thanks.
