Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
There is no physical and SMT core to the OS, it's just two logical cores that run on the same physical core. It would largely void the principle of SMT if one thread had priority of some kind.
Yes, you'll free up some shared resources when you disable SMT, but what prevents AMD and Windows from...
Even better if that is the case. Though what kind of performance could be expected from a APU with Vega?
Another ITX fan here, also happen to plan on making a Node 304 NAS.
I'll likely get a Ryzen chip upgrade for my HTPC, but not the high end stuff.
I'll be especailly interested if they make an APU combo of Ryzen and Polaris.
While 8/16 cores and threads is neat, do they have any plans for the lower end?
The masses likely don't spend that much on a CPU, and would make do with a decent 4/8 chip at a competitive price point.
I also believe I read somewhere about an APU combining Zen and Rx 460, perfect for casual gaming.
I don't suppose they're gonna manufacture riser cards themselves, or list compatible riser cards from third party suppliers.
You know, to avoid the hassle of someone buying a random splitter and it possibly not working, then wanting a refund.
While pictures are cool, I'd be a bit more itnerested in you writing a bit about the steps you're taking.
I'm assuming it's a custom case, and you've made (multiple?) custom reservoirs.
Using M.2 to PCI adapter, as well as the PCI splitter, wouldn't that allow for a 3 way Crossfire on a Mini-ITX board?
Sounds like crazy over the top, but isn't that a bit what people do here?
