Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I have this case for my server too, and yeah I agree about the slow humming. It has two hard drives (both identical actually), both in the same column. It's quite annoying, but I had figured it was incurable without moving the server, since my chieftec full dragon case did the exact same thing...
I used to have it on, when I was on windows. This was on 20" widescreen LCD with DVI connection (then VGA connection coz the graphics died). Now I'm on Ubuntu, with its font smoothing on.
When I build my new Vista machine, I will put cleartype on again.:D

I would show a limited number of posts per page, and get all the replies in one go (use limit and offset). Shouldshow a bit of speedup, although visitors will ahve to click to go to the next page, but all other forums do this anyway, so its expected.
My ancient 650MHz P3 Compaq laptop's hard drive is IDE, but instead of having just an adaptor, its encased in a sort of bay type effort. To get to the actual drive, the bay (plastic and metal assembly) must be unscrewed from the drive, and the pin adaptor thingy carefully pulled off of the pins...
Just remembered something slightly stupid (although not in the same league as some of these stories). I plugged in the USB headers from the case to the mobo wrong and ended up frying a USB memory stick.
I'd like to fold and other stuff (SETI), but my pc is too unreliable. Not entirely sure whats keeping it going at all. But when I get a PC which can multitask properly, I shall! :D
