I realize this is a super long shot, but I am looking for the upper and lower drive cages (with drive sleds and rubber grommets) for an Antec P193 case that I have an unreasonable fondness for due to being a sentimental aging hobbyist. See attached images for reference. I am willing to pay...
I have always had trouble OC'ing memory past the standard JEDEC specs once you get past a two stick config. I wonder if going with two ranks of dual channel would be better than an OC past JEDEC specs.
I saw your FS post for your signature system, I wish those were Canadian dollars and in Canada lol. I woulda hopped on that quickly. I have the same issue with kids saturating all my time, I don't game as much anymore, probably see the flood of used 2700x and hop on that in the future. Good luck...
I have only had the monitor for the last week or so, but I am converted. Love the deep blacks, and the refresh rate is really nice over the 75hz I had before. This VII was really made to stretch its legs nicely at this resolution and framerate. Now, do I go from a 4790k to a 3700x? Probably not...
I got myself an MSI Optix MAG341CQ. 100Hz, 3440x1440, VA panel. Good enough for me I think, Black Friday has a way with my wallet. Amazon has some five month interest free payment plans so I decided I couldn't go wrong, especially when the price dropped by nearly 150 Canadian rubles. :)
I managed to trade away my dual RX 580 and 27 inch Dell setup for a Radeon VII and a 24 inch 1080P (only used as a secondary monitor) and I will be using my LG 2560x1080 75Hz Freesync unit to game on primarily.
I am tempted by the deals on 34 inch ultra-wides, do you think it's a waste of my...
Man, it would be really cool once this becomes an offense with real-money fines attached to it. It could become a revenue stream for the government and all the state-enthusiasts could also pay into the inevitable offence quotas that get legislated into permanence. If you object, you're a bigot...
“Briefly stated, the Gell-Mann Amnesia effect is as follows. You open the newspaper to an article on some subject you know well. In Murray's case, physics. In mine, show business. You read the article and see the journalist has absolutely no understanding of either the facts or the issues...
Are you going to try that 1700 in the board again see if it works? That pin you broke off might be for something negligible, like a second channel of memory that you don't have installed or something.
If it needs that kinda music in its marketing its usually a forgettable shelf-dwelling trinket anyway. "twee-ass" though, I like that. I'm borrowing that for future use.
I once ordered a Powercolor r9 390 from an ebay seller in the US (I'm in Canada) to pair with my locally purchased card for Crossfire purposes. That card ended up being thrashed beyond all belief (subsequent peeks at his ebay history confirmed he was a miner) so I had to ship it back for RMA...
This is making replacing my 4790K more attractive by the day. If only DDR4 wasn't so expensive. I always talk myself into the highest end motherboard of a chipset every time. Looks like AMD will be breaking me of that habit. Very clean build you've got there.
