If it's like my Asrock Rack E3C246D2I then there's a jumper to select whether the OCuLINK port is PCIe x4 or SATA. On further investigation that is the root port the M.2 slot is connected to. dmidecode indicates PCIE7 is PCIe bus 01:00.0 which isn't listed in lspci , possibly because the slot is empty?- speedst3r
