Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Another option is to use WS2008's Windows Server Backup (ntbackup's replacement). You have to use it with a command line to only backup your information stores to a remote location, but it works for the SMB companies that can't afford Symantec or DPM. DPM also cannot give you offsite snapshots...
While the user is connected to the VPN tunnel, have them lock their workstation (ctrl+alt+del then Lock Computer) and then unlock it with the new password. This will force the OS to pull the new password from Active Directory and update the local cache.
