Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
You really should buy your own modem. Comcast charges $10/month to rent one, don't they? I bought one off newegg for $90 so the break-even point was at only 9 months (and you're on a 1 year contract regardless).
People use optical drives still? I haven't used mine in 5 years...I don't even install windows off of a DVD anymore.
Can't imagine what someone would be using it connected to a TV for...
Reminds me of my Athlon 1700+ DLTC stepping (I believe it was DLTC) that overclocked like crazy...my air conditioner had to run 24/7 because of that sucker.
He wasn't pissed at low scores. He was pissed at the absolute trashing and flaming of the game that was completely uncalled for and was way beyond a fair, unbiased review.
I agree with his initial twitter post. If I owned a PR firm though, I wouldn't be saying those things...because...well it's...
To be fair, I've had to return several things to newegg, and if the value was ever under like $30 they didn't even ask for it back. Just credited my card, no questions asked.
Of course there might be a threshold here for customers they do this for. I used my personal account for my old...
Thanks for the reply
When I say 3-4 years, I mean for a 6-10 year old who won't be hitting up battlefield 3 or anything else really graphics intensive. Hell, my own computer is still a Q6600 that I built back in early 2007 with a 4870 and it still runs everything I throw at it (added a vertex 2...
Hi guys,
I haven't really kept up with the lower end segment in a while and I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction for this. I'm building a computer for our 6 year old who basically just plays flash games. Here is the obligatory list:
1) What will you be doing with this...
Might as well go ban every rockstar game ever made, or any other game that lets you choose an illegal path (Oblivion as someone mentioned earlier is a good example).
App store is not just Application Store. It's also Apple Store
It's a pretty clever name and a good way to combine both Apple and Application, and I think a lot of people are overlooking that. I'm not a trademark lawyer or anything, but trademarks exist so that you can't name something...
Who do you get 3% from, out of curiosity?
I end up getting overall around 2-2.5% from chase depending which stores (1% for all and 3-5% for some stores like grocery shopping, lowes, etc)..but a flat 3% would be nice.
Seriously....even if 2.5% of those people bought the software instead of pirated it..money is a very finite resource. If you're putting more in one jar, then you're taking it out of another. They might not be able to buy new hardware, or go to a movie, or go out to eat, and then all of those...
Yep, thats what most people thought...but they specifically say only the current season. That means it doesnt even begin to have value until at least week 6..and it's very marginal at that.
