Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
yep thats true, the gue you are referring to, is coolmiester how got pissed off at me cos i did not mention him as the inspiration to this mod when i posted this pump mod guide in XS ( i forgot) , corrected that thing in this forum. :D
thanks gues. fired up the system yesterday and it is working like a charm, with d-tek fuzion and pa120.3 i got some insanely good temps at 1.5v idle 36c load 47c oh.
gonna try 1.6v today when i get out from work
here are the numbers from the GPM test, and i got to say i was rally pleasantly surprised, the mod actually did make a difference.
i did 5 different fillings and counted the average value of those 5 times i filled the bucket. i took few other pumps as comparison:
the results:
Petra'sTech...
so last week i got my new laing ddc2 pump from england, and since i'm very cheap..:D i decided that i'm going to mod the top part of the pump, so i can fit 1\2" tubing to it and at the same time increase the performance of the pump.
hope you gues enjoy the pics. :D
Ok and on with the mod...
ok first of all you dont actually have to lap your chip if you are one of the lucky ones that is ( like me:D ) it might be a good idea to test first is the cpu ihs convey. you can do this with a simple test just seat the chip into your socket> put some thermal paste> install heatsink/...
So I finally desided to take the leap to ddr2 but i have a proplem, i can't deside what brand of ram sticks to get.
so i have narrowed it down to these three 2gb kits:
1. G.SKILL 2GB (2 x 1GB) DDR2 800 (PC2 6400, 4-4-4-12)
2. Crucial Ballistix 2GB (2 x 1GB) PC6400 (4-4-4-12)
3. CORSAIR...
hey hemi
don't you have little bit too much of As5 there. i mean little bit less whould do the jop, and actually too much of it will hurt heat transfer,
mmm don't think so. cos i'm overclocking pretty much all of my components and of cource running higher than stock volts trough them.... Waaay higher.
And i like doing every thing over the top anyways :D . i'm curently thinking of doing 2 loops, only thing i need is a nother pump.:D
