    "everyone" should do all. To remove it do chmod -a "<entry>" <file>. You can see the ACL with ls -le <file>.

    OSX chflags doesn't seem to have sunlnk. You can try chmod +a "<user/group> deny delete" <file>

    I highly recommend the novel. It's actually quite good (Peter Watts is a fairly well known sci-fi author), unlike the usual video game adaptation trash. It doesn't explain everything but it does at least propose semi-canonical explanations.

    11.4 preview uninstaller flashed my screen on and off while uninstalling until I just reset the system. Ran driver sweeper and installed 1.4 official and now borderlands crashes every few minutes.

    Since you mentioned weight, I'd just go with the MBP. There are plenty of other laptops that can match those specs, but I don't know of any that are as light as the MBP. A thinkpad T520 or W520 comes close, the only downside is that it comes with a workstation gpu which may or may not work well...
