Hey everybody! So I got my RMA back from newegg after I was dissatisfied with my monitor. I THINK it was defective before, but not by much. The black levels and saturation were worse than what the monitor is now, but not by much. The largest difference is in contrast. I probably got a lemon as...
Hmm, it was fairly bright. I reset everything, tried different OSes, recalibrated all my monitors (by sight, using lagom and OS X's pretty good calibrator)...
Well, I am inclined to believe that it was a faulty monitor now, since everyone is saying the colors are great. The best colors I've...
Yeah, it's next to both my 2008 iMac (TN, 6-bit, I think) and some super cheapo Soyo monitor. The BenQ and Soyo were hooked up to my windows box and iMac, same results. Same desktop background.
Well, I just sent it back for RMA under defect... will probably get it back after the holidays...
Thanks!
That is disappointing then, as my monitor has worse colors than the $130 cheapo TN I had, even under "Eco." I was hoping the firmware was messed up.
My RMA was approved and I can send it back anyways. I think I'll send it back for a refund and cough up the restocking fee.
Hmm, is it...

Just tap the down key a few times to cycle modes.
Is it more saturated/vibrant than what you had before? If so...
I would assume those profiles would be accurate, but I have no calibrated frame of reference except a crappy TN that looks BETTER and my Galaxy S3 which obviously also looks better.
Can you switch your monitor to "Eco" mode and tell me if everything is more saturated or not? And if under...
Hey, can anyone please confirm if the "Eco" mode setting on their monitor has more vibrant or less vibrant colors than sRGB (or any other mode). sRGB is also the most dull on my monitor.
In one review, it was noted that "Eco" gave rubbish contrast, but in my monitor's case, it gives the most...
Hello, can anyone take a picture of their monitor?
2450 OR 2750, as the blacks should be similar at least.
I bought a 2450 and the black levels are... not what I thought they'd be. This is with a DVI connection on both ends. The colors are also rather stale and washed out, even compared to...
