I’ve got lots of smaller drives, but only two 2tb ones and it’ll be nice to consolidate some of them. This isn’t much more expensive than buying an old 2tb says ssd off eBay! Granted, those have much higher endurance ratings! But I’ve found that I really don’t end up writing all that much...

Just got a mail from eBay letting me know that it's dropped to $49.99 now. I'm not sure what the other sizes have been, but they also seem to have dropped. The 240 is $44.99, the 360 is $49.99 and the 420 is $74.49. Plus shipping of course.

Be careful with that one! It’s not a prime deal; it’s sold from the UK! As long as you don’t mind needing to find a US power adapter for it (or you’re just going to shuck it) then it’s a great deal.

5000 series (other than the g APUs) come with a voucher for the PC port of Uncharted now, which strangely enough comes out one day before raptor lake does.

I had been expecting BestBuy to put Nvidia cards on Totaltech a while back. What sucks is that $200 for someone scalping a few cards wouldn't mean anything, whereas if you're just trying to get one card for yourself it really sucks. =(

Some cards have shown up at BestBuy off and on this morning, but I've just gotten stuck in an infinite `Verify Your Account' loop (that is, hit the `Add to Cart' button, wait, get the `Verify Your Account' and then get stuck back waiting...) for all the cards I saw. Same thing on Chrome, Edge...

Good luck to everyone that made it on a Step-Up queue! I really wish I'd put down a notify for a FTW3 3080 queue, I have a feeling that all 3080s will be discontinued before my black edition 3080 queue spot comes up...

A $40 card doesn't bother me, it's the thought of buying a 3070 or 3080 and stepping up where tax could easily be $60 or more. Granted, that's still way better than scalper prices.

I was excited about the idea of being able to step-up since I really want at least a 3080 and if I can get one by also just getting any lower end card and stepping up, but the downside is that they don't count the tax you paid on the original card as what you paid for it! Although I guess if...

I did have that loaded, so that definitely could be it. It's so nice to see the queue time though, especially since it was in the 16-30 minute range today, but it's certainly not worth it if it means that they just dump you back on the queue again...

I was waiting on the 3080 Ti queue and got to the `Verify your account' phase, but instead of adding it to my cart it just kicked me back to the queue. =( And now it just sold out.

BestBuy has some cards showing up right now. No luck for me so far, but maybe someone can get one!

I managed to get on the queue of a few of the FE cards, but every time I got to the `Verify Your Account' phase I got an error when trying to add the card to my card, which I assume meant that they had already sold out. =( At least it provided a certain amount of entertainment for the 45...
