Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Thanks for the feedback.
Has anyone had any experience with similar Boards where the bottom slot is placed so the Graphics card is over the USB connectors?
Any chance of pictures?
This motherboard seems like the only logical alternative to the Asus MAXIMUS IV GENE-Z.
I just wanted to check some things.
If you have dual graphics and each card uses two slots, you have to use a 5 slot case?
Also if you have a dual slot card in the bottom of the board. Does it cover...
On a related note. If you use this MSI Z68MA-ED55 (B3) in Dual Graphics that use double slot cards, I assume you would need a 5 expansion slot case?
Also if you use a dual slot card in the bottom slot, does it block all of the USB headers on the bottom of the board, or are they still accessible...
Thanks. Ya they both look ok. Especially if they could fit an H60/50. But they are Mini-ITX, with only 2 expansion slots and I really want to get 4 expension slots. To potentially expand to SLI/crossfire later.
I have settled on the langear Da Box that I mentioned before for the mean time, but...
Thanks.
Ya, the further I get with this search the more I seem to realise what I actually want.
Portability is still a consideration, but not as much as the cube/mobo on bottom design.
I looked at the Vulcan and I honestly am not keen. The motherboard positioning is a big one. And it looks...
Aw Man!!!
I just spotted the QMicra V2. It's on the tall side, but is still a motherboard at the bottom case and I would seriously considered it, but alas... it too has been discontinued.
Oh wel...
Ya, I think you're right, they don't have it on their site anymore.
Darn... This case looked perfect.
Maybe I can get hold of a second hand one when it comes to build time... but not likely. Looks like the search is still on.
Thanks
Jayd
I think I have found the case I've been looking for.
The NZXT Rogue.
:) It is slightly large but is still a cube style LAN box
:) Has 4 Expansion slots (Supports full length Graphics cards)
:) Only has USB 2.0, but with the help of this in the external 3.5" bay, I would have 3 USB 3.0 ports...
Thanks Skott, this case does look cool. And you are right, it does seem to be able to house everything.
But, ya, it is too big for what I'm looking for.
I'm thinking of a cube case with a handle strap to use to take it to LAN's.
Thanks for the input though.
Thanks darrella.
