I was going to get this at one point but it had kinda "shakey" reviews so I decided to build my HTPC. This may be a revision though, haven't looked it up in a couple of months.
Seems kinda silly to unhook the thing and hook it up to a pc everytime you need to put new media on it. It would be awsome with a wireless or even wired ethernet card.
Why is this such a hard question? BIOSTAR!!! DUH! j/k don't flame.
It all boils down to the use of the computer of which board to get. I think the DFI is sexy so I would personally go with that. Just my two centz.
I agree, I had lots of problems with nVidia IDE drivers both on nForce 2 and 4. The speed difference is not going to be noticeble at all. This frustrated the crap outta me until I realized just how little (if at all) the performance gains were using the nVidia IDE.
Given I have never used this program, I would suggest comparing BIOS settings on your buds comp with what you have. Might help, or it might be a complete waste of time.
I plan on waiting to see what other companys do with this chipset. If its about the same performance as this board is showing I will proby pick on up. I mean come on $70 and it gives nForce 4 a run for its money with its first stage driver release. Thats awsome in my book.
