Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Stick with the compressed air not the air compressor! The canned air is filtered, contaminent free and will not produce the static that the air compressor will. Think about it... your air compressor is probably sucking in normal outside air with dust and particles in the air, do you want to...
I did a search and never saw a definate answer. Wil the 8800 GTX fit into the CoolerMaster Centurion 5 case? I have this case already and was hoping to pull the trigger onm the rest of the guts. Has anyone installed this card in there yet?
Thanks in advance!

Correct... You have to ask for the replacement, it's not a total recall of all boards. If you have a Duo you won't notice any difference, the fix is only for Quad core users really or if you plan to upgrade to a quad core down the road. I have been watching the message boards at EVGA...
I'm holding out for this board. EVGA may have good customer support, but I'm not thrilled with the idea that they knew about this board and put it out not capable of runnning the quad core like it should have been in the first place. If they say they didn't know, then how bad is THAT for not...
I hope a bios update fixes this. Just knowing that EVGA can only fix theirs via a board swap makes me nervous. As soon as I see the FSB numbers go up for the quad core chip, I'm ALL OVER this board. I currently have an old Giga board and it's been perfect! I really hope they can fix this one...
You wanted some info on the problem with Quad support on this board, here you go..
Check this link or just read below..

Needless to say, quad core overclocking on the 680i platforms have not been spectacular and downright worrisome...
So what's the difference between the two different EVGA 680i boards?
They have a Part Numbers:
122-CK-NF68-TR
AND
122-CK-NF68-AR
The AR being a little more money..
Had NO idea there were 2 to choose from!

So this Giga board seems to have the same Quad core FSB overclocking issues like the EVGA version. Is this an issue with all 680i boards and Quad core overclocking? I saw a post on Anandtech that EVGA was doing an RMA process on their boards to resolove this issue. Does this mean that the...
Same thing I am waiting on also. I wonder how many NewEgg has in stock and if they are shipping old ones still? I think you just order and hope for the best.. OUCH!
I wonder how these "changes" will change performance for the DUo use also?! This thing will have to be tested again..
I really want the 680i series also.. but you can NEVER go wrong with an Intel board with an Intel proc. hahah.. Makes me want to re-consider.
Still waiting for a few people to get the new Gigabyte 680i board and see what people think.
