    Correct... You have to ask for the replacement, it's not a total recall of all boards. If you have a Duo you won't notice any difference, the fix is only for Quad core users really or if you plan to upgrade to a quad core down the road. I have been watching the message boards at EVGA...

    I hope a bios update fixes this. Just knowing that EVGA can only fix theirs via a board swap makes me nervous. As soon as I see the FSB numbers go up for the quad core chip, I'm ALL OVER this board. I currently have an old Giga board and it's been perfect! I really hope they can fix this one...

    Help me choose for memory - 680i - Duo/Quad

    I really want the 680i series also.. but you can NEVER go wrong with an Intel board with an Intel proc. hahah.. Makes me want to re-consider. Still waiting for a few people to get the new Gigabyte 680i board and see what people think.
