    Well if we see the socket 940 dual core opterons price cuts that are being discussed on various tech sites, (almost 50% price cut for the opteron 265!! from $700 to $341) and seeing how one can get a dual socket 940 motherboard for $225, one will be able to get a quad core system for rendering...
