Really?! Have you tried using a 4k monitor on a laptop? For everything other than gaming a 17 inch 4k screen would be absolutely awful.
I would much prefer a 1080p screen. Don't have to change the text scaling and can run every game for the next few years at max settings.
It depends if you created an account using an email address. If you did not, you just have to wait for it to show up, but you can call or email using your order number and they can tell you if it has shipped.
I ordered a XB270HU-brpz ips and an X34:
The XB is disappointing because out of the box the contrast and color space were great with no dead pixels or ips glow/back-light issues. The bezel and base were scuffed up like someone used the monitor for lan parties or something, but I didn't care...
Bad ram stick?
Setup:
X99 sabertooth bios 1801
5820k
Ripjaws V 3200 4x4gb http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231901
Bios only detects 12gb of memory and system properties shows 12gb.
CPUz detects all 4 dimms.
I have seen people with similar issues and have tried...
Yes, it is an improvement over the mATX version, but I have read on some of the UK forums that air gets trapped inside and they see about 6 degree difference in temps if they remove a side panel.
I cancelled my order with Phanteks because they basically said the gray may never be released...
There is no way of knowing exactly how much Dx12 will take advantage of the extra threads, but there is only ~$50ish difference in price and you get 2 extra cores/4 extra threads.
Depends what you want, usb C or more cores. The pcie lane statement is correct and incorrect:
Skylake still only...
So, I placed my order as soon as phanteks had a pre-order available at their store. They sent me an email saying anthracite gray is delayed even further than black version and asked if I wanted to switch to black. They did not give a timetable for when they would send the gray...
I have been doing some upgrading and was going to sell my 2600k, but it overclocks so well that I just decided to upgrade to a z77 sabertooth I found for $100. My old asrock p67 B2 was not getting it done anymore.
Hopefully the 6700k @ 5.2 leak is real, but I still wouldn't think $500-600 is...
