Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
You've really got to ask yourself...
1) Do you want to have to call up India every time you need help?
2) Do you want your new computer to be completely loaded with bloatware?

I had to call VM and ask a question, it was so great to be able to talk to an...
Nice. Well, since you are a musician...
I bought a Velocity Micro instead of Dell for the same reason I bought a Moog synth instead of some Roland or Korg...great US-based product support, great warranty packages, and just knowing that I am supporting a smaller company that actually cares...
I also just ordered a ProMagix...and just cancelled an order for an XPS 410.
I am patiently waiting for my system.
My reasons are very similar. I would rather have American based support, I always try to support small business, and the product quality looks far beyond anything Dell can...
GREAT article. Thank you -- I had just ordered an XPS 410 the previous night. I cancelled my order, because I'll be using this computer only for digital audio recording. I simply cannot deal with Dell's outsourced support and all that bloatware. I honestly don't know what I was thinking...
