This happened at work, I work for the military, and the person who threw the box is a stubborn girl that I work with that thinks her shit doesnt stink and threw a fucking tantrum when I tried to explain what she did shouldnt have been done. Her claim "ive throw plenty of objects at monitors in...
Ok hypothetically if your standing apx 7 feet away from an LCD monitor and throw a unopened cardboard box of cereal (the small travel size ones) about 40mph into the center of the LCD screen is there a possibility of breaking it, cracking it or destroying any pixels? This may be off the wall...
Yea I know what you mean, my room will kick up apx 3degrees from 74/75 to 77/78 with both monitors on. 10e said to try and lower the brightness on your monitor, it helped, before I did that it was about 5/6 degrees hotter so with both down to 0 brightness it cooled down.
Its strange, I just enabled the S2209W as the primary, enabled the HD2201 (still blank screen reading "No Signal") restarted and Windows booted up on the HD2201, (while S2209W remained in "power save mode") then once past the Windows Initializing screen the desktop appeared on the S2209W while...
Hey all, Im currently just trying to run a dual monitor setup just to test it out.
I know my gfx card supports it, I have 2 GTX 260 that I run in SLI mode. However both monitors are connected to my card and the card is reading them both, because I can switch back and forth to enable whichever...
Sorry guys for the mislead, I double checked and indeed they messed up and tried to sell me the S2209W monitor  Im a little irritated because I did ask this guy I spoke with multiple times that he wasnt making a mistake, and yet...he still did. My fault for not double checking sooner...
Hey guys, Im double checking as we speak with a different dell associate, to make sure (even though like I stated before I asked numerous times that it was the 2209WA IPS panel, not the 2209W TN panel) Im double checking now...hopefully they didnt mess up my order and it indeed was legit.
Ah gotcha gotcha, didnt realize it was a H-IPS panel not a E-IPS, Thanks. And now that Im thinking about it...I think Im going to have to purchase a 2nd 2209WA for a dual monitor setup, 150$, why not.
Can I run a dual monitor setup with GTX 260 running SLI?
Silly question, but I was curious, considering theres two VGA plugs on the back of the GTX 260 Card. TIA!
Am I missing something? http://www.dell.com/us/en/dfo/peripherals/monitor-dell-u2410/pd.aspx?refid=monitor-dell-u2410&s=dfo Says it is an IPS panel, is this false or maybe a prototype? Someone clearify please?
This was through Dell. (I live in the US) Called 1-800-9153355 Extension 726-3805, Spoke to a rep named Jason. I told him this would be for Small Business, I live in NC so there was an additional 9~10$ tax. He asked me how much Ive seen the monitor for I said around $200, he quoted me $149.99...
