Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Most of the time when I get the error it's when I have SLI enabled. Even then it only really happens to me in certain games. TF2, CoD, occasionally Crysis.
When I turn off SLI most of the issues usually seem to go away.
I had originally thought it had to do with temps so I cranked my GFX...
I overclock my 260s with stock cooling to 712 core.
One of them performs better than the other one, I can get one to 760 about without artifacts.
What kind of overclocks are you trying to reach? Did you try the FTW settings

A year or so ago I had a PSU/Video card whining problem when my system was being loaded during heavy gaming.
Eventually it would shut my computer down, so I had to nix the power supply.
Then again.... it was a Sunbeam :p
If you're looking for warranties Visiontek (ATI), EVGA (Nvidia), and XFX (Nvidia) all have lifetime warranties.
XFX also has a transferable warranty on their cards if you ever plan to sell it.
The monitor is a pretty big deal. You want your games etc to look good right?
Also take into consideration the resolution. At 1680x1050 your single GTX 260 should be able to run just about anything you throw at it. If you go higher your frame rates generally will drop.

I have the 23.6 and I love it. But then again I was coming from a 22" viewsonic so the difference is pretty drastic.
The monitor has a higher resolution and 1080p if you're into that sort of thing.
I've seen a lot of debate on this. Personally I would go with an 850w or so just to give some headroom. Some people have had success with 750 watts powering their system. But I have also read some not having such good times with it.
Also take into consideration whether or not you will be...
Hey guys,
Long story short I got two OEM Visiontek 4870's for free.
How much do you think I could fetch for them? They are the 512mb version and I would register them and help with RMA if necessary.
I know with the recent price drops I've seen other 4870s go pretty low but because of...
