Thanks for that info. I have started looking into this. Do you have much experience with BitRorrent Sync? Questions about robustness and multiple change handling are concerns to me. I may eventually switch over even though I just got our computers and phones set up with Copy. For now Copy...
No. My understanding is they intend to keep both free accounts and paid accounts as long as they are in business, but no one knows the future.
They can't charge you anything. They don't even ask for your credit card or any billable information. It is basically like a free email signup.
Done.

I am looking forward to using the sync function. I think that I will transition from dropbox to this for auto photo uploads from my phone. I have always sync automatically backup my dropbox folder to my file server. I will just have to...
The manual states that only two built-in displays can be enabled at the same time. Is this a limitation of the motherboard? The CPU that I have (i7 3770k with Intel HD 4000 graphics) is supposed to be able to power three displays at the same time. I should be receiving the hardware next week...
I am putting a new computer together and I need a boot or OS drive. I have budgeted around $150 and want to put in an SSD that is around 256GB. I have not kept up with SSD's and need some advice picking out a good one. My time line is a little bit flexible, and I want the best deal I can...
Can I do that with a mixture of Windows XP and 7 computers on the same network without a server? Example: "computer A" checks to see if a specific user is logged in on "computer B". If that user is logged in then the task runs a sync program. Is that what you are recommending?
That is what I am thinking as well. I suppose that I could use an "IF" statement in the batch file to execute the synctoy job if the ping comes back positive. I could then have windows run that batch file every ten minutes or so.
Now I just need to figure out how to do that.
The schedule might run when one or more of the computers are off. I am looking for a way to automate the sync when the various computers are visible on the network.
I have been using a synchronization program that would automatically sync several folders across multiple computers whenever they were both turned on. All of the computers are connected to the same local area network. I have recently learned that this program is not reliable, and I am looking...
