Q9450 can't get it to run stable enough

I will try running Prime @ everything stock (inc. RAM) after the P04 BIOS Flashing. Let's hope the processor is fine.

Q9450 can't get it to run stable enough

I'm running unlinked. I would have left the RAM @ 800 but my Vista rating is @ 5.8. Call me stupid but it does bother me not to get 5.9. :D

Q9450 can't get it to run stable enough

First of all, this is my first OC so bear with me. Q9450's are known to run at low voltage because the chip itself cannot take much. I also heard that either a high or low voltage can run you into stability issues. I flashed my BIOS to the P03 version when I saw now that there's a P04 out...

Q9450 can't get it to run stable enough

I don't think I'm gonna overclock it over 3.2GHz. It's fast enough now. So 1600 FSB is pretty reasonable. I will try it @ 1.2250v.

Q9450 can't get it to run stable enough

But I've seen other overclocks with that voltage (even less). Dunno about their stability though. I need to run it for 24h because this PC is gonna be used for work as well. I need to ensure that it's really stable. Does the RAM have anything to do with this error?

Q9450 can't get it to run stable enough

Hi, I have a Q9450 processor, EVGA 780i SLI motherboard and 8GB of OCZ Reaper HPC DDR-800 RAM. I overclocked my processor to 3.2GHz unlinked (1600FSB using a multiplier of 8). The RAM is overclocked to 900MHz with timings of 5-4-4-15/2T. Processor runs @ 1.3v Bios, 1.25v in HWMonitor...
