I have a gbok midnight mx2 and it streams from my media server using xbmc just fine

I use the gbox midnight mx2 it does everything I need it to and more and is rooted and had xbmc installed it of the box

What did you do for the navy and what is your job description now? I am an avionics electronics technician and am looking for something in the it/networking field when I get out in 4 years.

I use a gboxmidnight mx2 and I find the included version of Xbmc works great the only thing it will not do smoothly is networked over the air 1080p tv, it will play back a 1080p file just fine though. You can also flash Linux to it and the forums and developers seem active in regards to this...

I use tasked and secure settings plugin to connect to my wifi when my phone is near the cell towers by my house, do you leave wifi on all the time?

A tablet/phone with a network capable of blaster is what I'm planning to do as soon as I get settled into my new place

The website worked fine for me on my android transformer tab running cromix, the android version is 4.2 flash sideloaded during Rom install and I played music via the stock browser. I do know that for dolphin browser I had to edit a settings file for it to play flash, if you search xda forums...

I'm not sure if it is officially supported but my transformer (tf700t) has a tegra 3 and it plays everything I throw at it using Xbmc. Some tablets don't work with the Frodo version of Xbmc though, if your looking at an android tablet for this reason do some homework to find out if it has issues...

I second Xbmc it's awesome software, you might want to think about a tv tuner card if your not going to go to advanced with your setup. I would start with the one htpc box and if you like it then look at how to do a whole house/apartment setup. There is a lot you can do if you have the time to...

They make tuners that you can plug cable cards into as well forgot to mention that http://www.silicondust.com/products/hdhomerun/prime/ it's only 3 tuners not a quad tuner though.

I have been able to get working flash in android 4.2 but that is with aa rooted device and a custom Rom, you can try xda the folks over there may be able to help.

hdhomerun makes a box that you plug an antenna into that will send your channels through the network, I don't use win media center but as long as it can read .stm files you should be fine. check hdhomeruns forums I'm sure someone has used it with win...
