Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
now all i need is to setup some profiles so that when im not gaming my chrome windows dont span on 3 screens....
#firstworldproblems!
Any suggestions on how to easily setup a second profile for browsing/multitasking work that would allow for applications/browsers to be confined to one...
Thanks David and the gang!! All the replies are much appreciated!
Also this definately confirms that if someone wants to setup eyefini using only minidp to dp it works fine as long as monitor has a dp input.
no need for active minidp to dvi adapter :D
All three monitors light up.
All three connections are from only ONE of the TWO 7950s.
1 monitor is dvi direct from back of main card to monitor dvi
2 monitor is hdmi direct from back of main card to dvi adapter> dvi adapter to monitor dvi
3 monitor is minidp direct from back of main card...
IN desktop properties I can manually configure each monitor... it says settings: Destop area: 1920.
I have 3 such desktops to configure. But I dont see where I can enter the 5760x1080 as a whole for the extended destop over the 3 monitiors one shot.
ok so. I think you pinpointed what is wrong, I dont think I have CCC setup to 5760x1080. Where would I set it? I thought it would set it by default as it detects the 3 1920x1080 monitors.
thanks!
Hi as the title reads im running 3 monitors in 1920x1080 ( 2xU2311 & 1xU2312)
I just created a monitor group and all. However the first game I want to play in eyefinity isnt giving me such an option.
It only goes up to 1920x1080.... BUT it does show me the correct number of minitors in...
Thanks so much for the screenshot. I will be using GPU-Z, now i know what to look for. Would this only be visible on the core graph or also the memory clock?
Im going to try it first thing tonight, do I jump to 20%+ straight? or do I use increments? is there any way to disable this throttling or lock the performance?
Hopefully that solves my issue.
Thanks!
Guys i have been reading up on the issue and it seems that the problem could be the throttling by the card itself. I noticed the card came clocked at 1.25v from factory for the OC edition. However the powertune in catalyst is something I DID NOT TOUCH.
From what I understand I should set it...
I see, what you mean. Wouldn't the memory screw up in Heaven? If i succesfully complete a loop I thought it would mean that the core/memory are stable, if not I would have to lower. Thats how i found the cutoff for the core and memory in the first place.
I will try to lower the memory and...
the first card the NON-OC maxed out at approx 75 degrees at 1220/1450
the second card OC version is cooler somehow. it runs approx 70-71 at 1180/1600
I did not touch the thermal compound.
What do you mean the memory isnt stable?
Also i noticed that the non-oc has a dark greenish pcb...
I bought 2 sapphire cards from the same store, but I received 2 different versions. One card came with the following sku : 11196-01 stock card came at 810mhz and 1250mem. This card came clocked at 1.093v as per trixx. I ran many runs in Heaven and was able to achieve the following performance...
no i can only afford the one 60gb ssd right now, therefor i decided to use it as my OS drive and maybe some other programs which benefit the most from the boost in performance.
Whcih programs do you suggest i put on the ssd other then the OS?
