Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

Yes it's worth the money if you don't mind PWM.
It has a semi-glossy coating.
It is 6 bit.
Negligible input lag (~5ms).
And it's been in stock the whole time at...
I do have it, and I do use its speakers over HDMI when I don't feel like wearing headphones.
The PWM frequency is quite high, so you'd have to be pretty sensitive to it to notice it.
Find something that stands up straight (say a book). Stand it up next to the left of the monitor, mark off where the monitor is. Match it on the right side.
I have the NEC EA244WMi. I can't notice PWM, so it doesn't bother me. The PWM frequency is 266Hz. The right 1/3 of the screen is slightly darker than the rest. Everything else is great, high contrast, great responsiveness (both response time and input lag), and semi-glossy coating.
I'm pretty sure I'm going to be keeping this monitor. The biggest thing that bothers me about it is that the right side of the monitor has weaker backlighting, but it's not a massive difference.
For those sensitive to PWM, Benq just announced a 16:10 PWM-free IPS.
My EA244WMi arrived. It basically does everything that I expected it to.
Semi-glossy. Great colors, high contrast ratio. My unit has barely any backlight bleed. IPS glow is there, but I'm not sure there are any IPS monitors out at the moment that do any better.
I believe it is 6-bit + FRC, but...
