I'm not the guy you were asking, but my friend has just bought one of these monitors and we hooked my PS3 up to it, and it looked fantastic. Put the screen into Aspect mode and it's great for PS3 gaming. I'd say go for it.

NFS Underground 2 is an older game than MW, so it won't be demanding as much from your gfx card, hence the better smoothness.

No 1:1 or Aspect modes? That's a big downer for me. I thought it had all those modes. Places my purchase in serious doubt. How old is your monitor? Maybe they now include 1:1 and Aspect in more recent firmware. Thanks very much for replying btw! :D
