    DDR2 mobos/CPU backward compatibility

    DDR2 and DDR1 are not compatible w/ eachother. Can't use DDR1 and 2 on the same board unless you have one that supports it like the asrock boards.

    fiddled w/ it some more.. did some of the suggestions, moved my xfi to a different slot, tweaked voltages. I haven't seen the cold boot problem yet. Thanks for the help.

    I just bought a new rig!
