    I think most people would say the sweet spot for i7 overclocking is DDR3-1600, that's why I got it instead of 1333 at least. In any case if not for Intel Retail Edge Big Deal in December I would probably go for an i5 processor instead.

    Clearance issues aren't a problem. How about some of the 4GB kits of DDR3 OCZ RAM? I've never used G.Skill before. In general DDR3 for i7 that runs at 1.5v is better than 1.65v? I like the look of the heatsink for the Trident's more for what it's worth haha!
