    MSI lightning GTX 680 testing

My Lightning boosts to 1227 on standard bios by default, but I assume that is like any other GTX680, as they all differ from card to card.

xoleras is right, LN2 bios has a default base + boost clock of 1202Mhz, standard bios is usually around 1229, give or take depending on your silicon.

    GTX 680 In Stock Thread

Already checked and there are other sellers, but at ridiculous prices that it ends up only being a few dollars cheaper than here. I can have Amazon ship a card for free for $525 to shipito, who then charges me about $60 for postage, ends up being around $590 all in, whereas the cheapest price...

Gigabyte Windforce GTX 680 in stock at Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Gigabyte-GeForce-PCI-Express-Graphics-GV-N680OC-2GD/dp/B007ZUDOKG/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1339642667&sr=1-1 They haven't changed it to outside US shipping, yet they ship other GTX680's outside of the USA. Anyone...

    GTX 680 In Stock Thread

Hopefully this means Amazon will have them in stock again soon. I'm in Australia, so I'd have to get it shipped to a forwarder (which ends up working out to around $570 shipped), but having to RMA with Newegg will be a nightmare. At least with Amazon RMA, they'll send me a prepaid postage label.

Pro/Con GTX 670 Asus top vs Gigabyte

What's the noise like on the Windforce? I've currently been hanging out for the 680 or 670 Windforces to appear on Amazon direct (I'm in Australia), as I've heard they are pretty quiet, and only take up two slots, as opposed to the Asus which takes up three. I've got a reference 680 at the...

    New 3dfx Project: Stay Tuned...

Man, that screenshot brings back memories. I could never afford to own a 3dfx card (I was about 14 at the time), but I certainly envied older friends who had them. Also, check out the custom water cooler, this really rocked my socks: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mENKEWrg76Y&feature=relmfu

Request from the DAB, 6903/04 TPFs

It's done by the guide over at Overclock.net here. Basically you trick the client into thinking you have 12 cores, but only run it on 8 with the -smp 8 switch. VM has nothing to do with it, having a VM just means you can keep your Windows install and still fold BA (since BA requires 64 bit...
