Yeah...my neck complains the size is a little too big, but the rest of me requests the neck to live with it. Gorgeous glossy true blacks picture. 4K at an effective 292 Hz or more. I still love mine! (Technically this one now is a C1, but basically same difference...)

    24" Widescreen CRT (FW900) From Ebay arrived,Comments.

An issue I remember from the Asus OLED monitor reviews is that they don't allow BFI in HDR mode. They should give the user a choice on that. As for this C1, latest word seems to be about an effective 294 Hz equivalent motion clarity. Maybe a bit more. This from Ariel on YouTube. And when I...

    LG 48CX

Just checked my C1. No soul crushing advance of dead pixels as of yet. 3440 hour count though. Might still be early days I guess...

Agree. Anything over about 294-300 Hz. (If you have a 5090 anyway...)

For those wanting something that much closer to CRT like myself it's a lifeboat for now.

No such high frame rate displays exist in 4K last I heard. Also Frame Generation and OLED Motion Pro work great together. (Using it for path traced Cyberpunk, which is awesome.)

Looks like 3.4ms if I'm correctly interpreting the graph RTINGS posted. :) Legendary display indeed. (Still hoping LG brings back rolling scan and makes it less special though...)

    Upgrade to oled?

Was still thinking something like this for 1440p: https://www.rtings.com/monitor/reviews/msi/mpg-341cqpx-qd-oled Yes, along with DLSS upscaling, the Nvidia RTX 40 and 50 series cards support 2x and 2-4x frame generation, respectively, in supported games. (Which might be particularly useful in...

    Upgrade to oled?

If your base requirement is still 1440P, I'd suggest again that a wide screen with that vertical would be more fun/interesting. :)

    Upgrade to oled?

You said you were about to get one. So posted two reviews related to same. Guess I actually still have some doubts about that model for use as a monitor. And doubts about that size for use as a TV...

    Upgrade to oled?

The S95F is only 165Hz. Maybe you intend this more as a TV though? (However, then it's too small for 4K. Unless I guess you're sitting really close.) S90F versus S95F for a monitor, I'd still take the latter, but with an understanding that I was about to lose my warranty. :)...

    Upgrade to oled?

Ok found it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-l5zHp_SssY I think he's talking about the S95D and saying that he got the paper towels, but didn't end up needing to use them... (Have to go though and it's a rather sprawling conversation...)
