    HP LP2475w (Possible new IPS)

I did a quick test connecting my Wii via component. Worked fine, except that I need to find a cable to connect the 2 sound cables to my computer. Aspect ratios were: "Fill to screen" (stretch), "Fill to aspect" (16:9, small black borders on the side) and "One to one" which was a small...

    HP LP2475w (Possible new IPS)

I have measured the energy usage for different settings. I used the ColorEyes calibrator program along with the i1display2 calibrator. I measured values for the following (white) target luminance values: 100, 120 (the one I had when starting), 140 (seems to be a preferred setting?) and 200. The...

    HP LP2475w (Possible new IPS)

From 70cm away my monitor is silent as far as I can tell. And I have built my computer to be near silent, including undervolting the fans. With my ear on top of the screen there is an electronic tinging sound, pretty quiet though. I borrowed a friends cheapish energy meter today, so given...

    HP LP2475w (Possible new IPS)

I have mine at 18, I followed the instructions from one of the calibrator programs. Probably ColorEyes since I did that one last. I can barely make out the number 2 box on the black level page of the lagom.nl site, during the evening. I read somewhere that HP was promoting this screen as a...

    HP LP2475w (Possible new IPS)

55.6cm, or just slightly less ;). All those. The color menu has the following choices (I am using DVI and Custom Color): 9300K/6500K/Custom Color/sRGB/Color Saturation (grayed out)/Color Tint (grayed out). Custom color is the one where you set RGB separate for each color.

    HP LP2475w (Possible new IPS)

My initial reaction was that it was the latter of your descriptions, i.e. lighter and darker colors. But someone else will have to confirm. I love it. But I am coming from a 6 year old 17" TN screen so I have no reference to compare with really. And I do not play games, so I will leave it...

    HP LP2475w (Possible new IPS)

My screen is mild to lukewarm on top after 2-3 hours of continuous use. The sides are cooler. I am not sure how to tell the difference.

    HP LP2475w (Possible new IPS)

I changed the brightness to the minimum and did a profile, and then changed it to the maximum and did a new profile. Albovin mentioned measuring black levels at these values in the Hazro thread. Not sure if should have changed anything else in between as well? Anyway black point for minimum...

    HP LP2475w (Possible new IPS)

The screen comes with a CD that contains a "HP Display Assistant" which guides you through a number of steps where you change the screen settings in the OSD.

    HP LP2475w (Possible new IPS)

After calibration with ColorEyes I get an average dE of 0.39 and a maximum dE of 0.69. The system profile overview says the black level is 0.196 cd/m^2 (brightness is set at 18/100), not sure if that is a measured value? I have included screen shots below. When I try to validate the...

    HP LP2475w (Possible new IPS)

I installed the HCFR software before receiving my new screen. The graphs and values produced by it makes no sense to me. For instance, the deltaE values are not in the same ballpark as the ones in the reviews. So unless there is a HCFR for dummies somewhere it does not help me much.

I got my 2475w today and I own the X-rite i1display2. If someone directs me how to measure the black level I am happy to help (including free/trial software if needed?).

    HP LP2475w (Possible new IPS)

Some of the Swedish (less reputable) online stores are now showing this screen as in stock. It seems as if there are two versions of this screen, and the only difference I can tell between them is the part number: KD911A4 vs KD911AT. The AT version seems to be cheaper, $900 vs $1100 (approximate...

    2408WFP vs FP241W

I wrote down the Swedish part number on July 18 to see if they changed it (this was before the US page changed their number). The number you have is the old one, from my notes:

Hazro HZ24W mini review with pics :)

Is it possible/safe to replace the power cord of the external power supply of this monitor? I live in Sweden so a UK plug will not do. I have sent a web note to OcUK and received the following response: Which leaves me wondering if he is guessing. I have sent the same question directly to...
