**FIXED** I defrag'd and ran chkdsk and let's just say, there was a lot of fragmented files and chkdsk had to fix A LOT of stuff including a folder in My Music and everything seems to be fine now. Thanks for all the help guys, Drew

The .txt file becomes hidden aswell. I did a search on the entire computer for all files. I then tried searching just for music files. I even tried searching for an exact name of a file I know is in the folder (no sub folders) with no luck either. I'm stumped.

I checked the folder permissions and they are all okay and nothing is denied. Folder options are set to show hidden files. Searched for *.mp3 and only found sound files from other programs. Nothing in that folder. Any other advice as to what to do about this little problem? Thanks, Drew

Links updated. Hope that helps.. Really confused as to why windows is hiding the files. I just dragged a test.txt file into My Music and I checked and it's not in there... although I know it is. hmm... My Music is NOT hidden so why can't I see anything in there!?!? Thanks, Drew

I know when ordering HL2 from gogamer.com last xmas, they had an import version which I purchased and it came in the retail box. Everything was identical to what you'd buy off the shelf at BB like my brother did for $15 more :P
