4K 30+ Inch Professional Monitors in early 2017 (Alternative for Samsung U32970)

It has to be a (Ultra) Wide Gamut Display also.

4K 30+ Inch Professional Monitors in early 2017 (Alternative for Samsung U32970)

I currently use the Samsung 32" 970 professional monitor (U32D970Q). But the Samsung 970 is almost not available anymore in the Netherlands. Is this model still produced, or is it being replaced. I know the S32850T is somewhat comparable, but it's more a gaming monitor with Freesync. And I do...

Dark borders on U32D970Q 4K Samsung display.

Does anyone have a U32D970Q Samsung 4K Display? I have had one, but returned it because the far borders on the left and right of the screen were about 30% darker than the rest of the screen. I have found someone who also had these dark borders. Do all these Samsung 4k 970 displays have this...

Chromatic aberration especially around edges of letters (Samsung 4K u32d970q)

I have tried it, but it is impossible. The monitor stand is designed such that the display can only be mounted one way. The only solution would be to replace the stand with a vesa mounted stand.

Chromatic aberration especially around edges of letters (Samsung 4K u32d970q)

I have tried it, but it also changes the windows fonts. I just want to use the default windows fonts. I tried setting the font bu it does not seem to have an effect.

Chromatic aberration especially around edges of letters (Samsung 4K u32d970q)

Thanks, I don't think that Mactype supports multiple monitors when cleartype can't. It must be an OS and GDI restriction, otherwise MS would have implemented it already. I also just want to use cleartype and do not want to mess with windows core functions.

Chromatic aberration especially around edges of letters (Samsung 4K u32d970q)

Not possible since the monitor foot is permanently attached to the monitor :-(

Chromatic aberration especially around edges of letters (Samsung 4K u32d970q)

There does not seem to be a way to use RGB on one screen and BGR on another in MS Windows. Does anyone have a solution?

Chromatic aberration especially around edges of letters (Samsung 4K u32d970q)

Can cleartype be set to use an other font rendering engine than GDI? It seems that it does not support separate cleartype alignments for each screen per system. There seem to be two other systems. 1) GDI (Does not support RGB and BGR at once on one system) 2) Direct Write 3) Windows...

Chromatic aberration especially around edges of letters (Samsung 4K u32d970q)

You are right it seems that the samsung has BGR Pixels. When I configure cleartype in the first setting (1/4) the second option (2/2) looks a lot better. But nothing seems to change once set it (even after a reboot). I set the first display (LG) on the first option and the second display...

Chromatic aberration especially around edges of letters (Samsung 4K u32d970q)

I have cleartype turned on. But it does not matter, because images display the same problem. Other 4k displays don't have this problem with the same computer and configuration. What can cause this? Can this display be defective? Is it possible to get this problem from a defective panel? how...

Chromatic aberration especially around edges of letters (Samsung 4K u32d970q)

I have had 3 other 4K screens (All recent Displayport 1.2) - LG - BenQ - Asus - (and none have had this problem).
