Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I think this is a pretty good guess. Had my box running at 100% with a 8800GT and some other clients. Always dropped ppd and eventually eue'd about the same time every day. Figured out it was the same time that a daily virus scan kicked off. Changed the schedule and played around with some...
I was doing ok on UD under the name SpongeBob, but not on the FAH side.
Had about 7.5 million points total with about 3 million going to the [H].
Can't imagine the amount of D that would have been required to get in the top 10 on both. The major thing holding me back on UD was the lack of...
Threads like this make me really not happy about the two open PCIe slots next to my single 8800GT.... :(
Got to go shopping now that it's finally not 90 degrees every day down here in Florida.
I'm tired of just getting freaking mowed over and not complaining!!!! or fighting back!!!
If...
Yeah the GPU client still likes to do random and weird stuff. I check mind out to find that it's still folding, but all the clocks on the card have dropped back to default 2d levels, and it takes about 2kppd off the point rate. Reboots seem to be the only thing that help it.
It really doesn't give enough info to clear the grey are in my mind. It says it's optional, and uses spare cpu cycles. Could easily be anything that uses spare cpu cycles. Embedding something like this could easily be replaced with anything that uses spare cycles for good or evil.
I think...
my 8800GT with the shaders around 1890 went from 60C to 67C, but the fan was on auto and only running at about 30%. Changed the fan profile and it's still running hotter (63C) but only by about 3 degrees with the fan running at 50%.
My backyard is still flodded from the 24 inches of rain we got from TS Fay. Kinda happy that Hanna is probably just going to brush the coast. Of course that's probably not good for them though I think Melbourne got over 33 inches of rain from Fay. Any more rain and we'll just have to redraw...
Thanks everyone.
Just want to also thank Tedkj. He added an 8800GT to my Q6600 and brought 2 million much sooner than I would have without it.
Thanks Tedkj and hope all you get through all those issues soon.
