Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I have been running Vista Ultimate x64 for about a year now in conjunction with a Creative XtremeMusic sound card. Everything was fine until yesterday I decided to update every program and driver I had installed on my computer (I had assignments due the next day, what else was I supposed to do...
SpeedFan is one of many options for measuring CPU temps (google for more) and Daemon Tools is what you're looking for if you want to mount disk images (again there are other options if you look). And yes your understanding of virtual drives and their uses seems correct.
Google for links to...
I have the 2707WFP and I use it for my computer (obviously) and my Xbox360 which I run at 1080i over component (1080i seems to look better than 720p upscaled). I LOVE this monitor. There has been nothing I have found which annoys me with it (other than maybe the price when I purchased it). With...
Yea it is an awesome bike so far. Way better than my old bike it replaced; a bit like going from a P4 to a C2D I would say.
@Steve
Amazing setup(s) but why do you have two 360s? Is it because you bought the Elite for the HDMI and already had one?
I'm not sure me telling you is going to help since I live in New Zealand but the store was called Office Supplies I think and the desk cost something like $600 New Zealand (which is roughly $400-$450 US). It is a great desk though and I think you can buy extensions so that the right side is the...
The case is great except that the standard sata cables which came with my motherboard only just reach from the hard drives to the sata ports and the length of the 8800GTX only makes this worse. Other than this problem (which kinda of messes up my cable management) I love the case. Everything...
Its a Fuji Team and yea I do race in most of the commercial (not club) races they have around here (Christchurch, New Zealand). I don't do enough training to be up with the winners though, I tend to get in the top 10-15% in most events.
My first post in this thread but I have read all of it... :eek: at some of those setups. While mines isn't as [H] as some I think its worth posting :p (sorry about the picture quality my flatmate's camera sucks).
- Old HP Pavilion Laptop (old as in Pentium M so not that old I guess though...
Ah thank you very much that sounds like the answer, stupid beta BIOS but I guess that's why its called a beta.
And I agree with not using the Windows BIOS updater.
Running Vista Business 32bit at the moment (getting Ultimate 64bit soon). I have installed the latest chipset drivers that Asus has on their website and it didn't fix anything.
I recently got the Asus P5K Deluxe motherboard and the 2 USB ports on the front of the case and the 2 on the add in bracket which comes with the motherboard are being picked up as USB 1.1 by Windows (they are clearly stated to be USB 2.0 in the motherboard manual). I've been told that there...
