    Thats how I always secure the keatsink. Im going to get a good brand of TIM to see if that makes any difference. Know any good but cheap pastes?

    Fan is spotless, no dust. Ive tried many different amounts of paste, from little to lots, all resulted in similar high temps. Im thinking there may be an issue with the TIM between the IHS and die.

    I have done that multiple times, trying different techniques of applying the paste, even trying a different type of paste. All resulted in the same 99-100C load and 36-40 idle.
