photo editing / light gaming rig for ~500

Okay, to clarify, it's heavy usage with a 12MP camera, this can include HDR and large panoramas and stuff, but nothing quite like what you're doing. My PSDs never go above, say, 400MB. For reference, I'm currently working on a laptop with a 7200rpm 160GB HD, 3GB of RAM, and a C2D T9300, and I'm...

help with gaming build for CAD$600-700

    4-pin CPU power connector mismatch?

I'm looking at building a computer with a OCZ OCZ500MXSP PSU and an Asus M4A78 PLUS motherboard. I've spent the night trying to make sure all my components will work together, but I noticed this and am not sure if it will work. It's been a while since I've built one, and I looked in the FAQs but...

Just ordered the Dell UltraSharp 2209WA

So I got a stuck pixel after about a week... it only shows red. It still shows black when black is supposed to be displayed, though. I've never dealt with these. Is the technique for resolving these any different on an IPS? I've tried cycling for almost an hour, and a little bit of pressure...

Just ordered the Dell UltraSharp 2209WA

Got mine today, no weird tints or dead pixels. Blows my T61's display out of the water. A lot better than the other two Dells we have.
