What part did you want to understand? I have to say that as I stand I am considering dropping to win2k8 x64 with VMmare server as the LAB. I am getting awful file transfer speeds, 20 MB/s, over the 1Gb/s links and I thick that it's VMware related. I get about 70% CPU on the win2k8 server...
