SilverStone Olympia 1000W Power Supply 7 Year Redux @ [H]

Nice article! I have a SeaSonic S12-600 from 2006 or 2007 (can't remember :D). I've used it through a number of builds, all overclocked. I replaced it with a beQuiet! Straight Power E10 600W couple of weeks ago not because of performance problems but because it was too loud. It was never too...

Antec EDGE 650W Power Supply Lucky Draw

I've got an Antec case and this power supply looks like a perfect match. Same (black) colour and modular design are a great plus :)

    LEPA Lucky Draw

EU That Lepa 1600W looks really nice. Just the thing I'd need for a SLI setup. :D

Why do you keep posting in this thread? :p

    Dell U2412M

Could you be more precise? Almost all LED backlit monitors suffer from some form of flicker when you set the brightness lower than the 70%-100% level

    Dell U2412M

For proper calibration you need hardware, you can do only so much using test pictures. Some other user's settings may or may not be a match for your panel (not all panels are the same). Brightness and Contrast will probably be useful but color channel data can vary a bit. E.g. 10e's panel...

    Dell U2412M

I had a P-MVA panel (8bit) before getting U2412m (6+2bit)and I can tell you that the later has much nicer colors. I'm not noticing any dithering in normal, daily usage. I'm not sure how it compares to 2408WFP directly but I would be more concerned about the IPS glow or AG coating. See my thread...

    Dell U2412M

Concerning input lag U2412m should be as good or better than U2410 (you could read up on TFT Central's comparison between the two)

What will be your most preferred resolution for gaming?

Soooo, 16:10 monitors still available and produced are a figment of our mass imagination? Please add 24" 1920x1200 so I can vote :D

Best 24" display circa £300 with good response time

Why are you so shocked about Dell? They've been in TFT business for quite some time... Regarding response times and 24" - if you don't want to go TN I suggest Dell U2412m (e-IPS panel). I recently got mine and am quite pleased with it for gaming. Check the u2412m thread for more details.

Upgrading from Belinea 10 20 35W, need advice

NCX, thanks for the advice. I tried finding a S24A650D to look at before purchasing but it was a bit hard to find and in the end I found a good deal on Dell U2412M and went for it instead. So to answer my own questions, a modern e-IPS panel Dell U2412M vs. an old-timer P-MVA Belinea 10 20 35W...

    Dell U2412M

Hi! New member of the club here. Just bought my U2412M yesterday, so my first impressions are still very fresh but still wanted to share them. I really LIKE it! It's got nice colours and it's big (compared to my old 20" P-MVA ). For a small premium the shop offered a guaranteed no-dead-pixel...

Upgrading from Belinea 10 20 35W, need advice

Yes I've read some things about that coating problem but never quite experienced it. Guess it's time to hit the shops and trust my eyes. Just have to find one, which isn't hyper-illuminated.
