FYI I Had to fix this by reverting back to the previous 566.6 driver AND plugging in my primary monitor the the bottom most Display port, closest to the motherboard/PCIe slot and my secondary monitors to the other displayport plugs.
This stopped the crashes in PoE2 and D4.
Idle Temps will be that high in a multi monitor setup if you are using one monitor with a higher than 60/120 refresh rate. Just set the Windows default refresh rate to 60 or use nVidia Inspector to enable low power multi monitor mode.
In case anyone is reading this for a review, they have fixed the memory issues with newer bios updates.
